I am trying to get back into my groove. After a solid month of effort, my motivation certainly isn’t what it used to be. 21 days to make a habit right? Well I smashed that…and me, habitual about exercise and healthy eating? I think not(!)
I need to keep pushing myself, I don’t want to end up back where I started. I have come so far…
Monday I went for a walk; I had a headache, but wanted to make sure that I got some activity in. Here is what Monday looked like >>
It was 99.9% walking with a tiny run at the end – so pretty amazing how much vigorous activity that amounts to! Nice big calorie deficit of 847 calories…
Tuesday I should have gone to the gym for a session after work, I really need to pump myself up to go to a pump class – Ha! But ended up having coffee with a friend >>
But I still did pretty well calorie burn-wise… no complaints over here.
And this morning (Wednesday), I woke up to see a loss on the scales! It is official:
2.5kg loss since August 1st

Well done on the loss. I’ve lost all motivation. I have to find ‘him’ again and start over.
It is hard, – make that really hard. But I am trying to use Spring as an added motivator
And summer won’t be far around the corner after that. And there is nothing worse than being hot and uncomfortable because of those few extra kilo’s…
Just a few more steps every day, its doable
hey jen, it is always a new challenge for me to exercise everyday, but the challenge does get easier.
i dont think it will ever get to the point that you would rather exercise than do nothing, but it certainitely makes you feel better!
yay for the loss!
Thanks, I am making progress, which is what matters…
Yeah I will stick it out, one day at a time… one exercise session at a time … or something like that
How are things? – I noticed your blog is private/deactivated? Everything okay?
Congrats
The easiest way to make exercise a habit is by making sure you look forward to it and don’t dread your workout. Easiest way to do that is only workout in a way you love, like or truly enjoy
Don’t discount activities like walking if that is what you enjoy
Yeah there are parts that I am starting to love – it’s just getting started that is the issue(!) I need to find cardio that I love, that’s what I am missing/needing most of all.
Thanks for commenting, nice to see anew face
